We are delighted to share the exciting news that Esref Gunaydin, the oldest Erasmus+ student at Tomas Bata University, has been honored with the prestigious DZS Award for the best individual participant coming to Czechia. This recognition highlights his inspiring journey and dedication to lifelong learning.
Esref, a 73-year-old student from Turkey, joined UTB’s Faculty of Technology during the summer semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. His passion for education and remarkable perseverance have made him a standout participant in the Erasmus+ program. His presence at UTB has been a source of inspiration for students and faculty alike.
