prof. Dr. Ing. Drahomíra Pavelková is the head of the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Management and Economics. She is the guarantor of the Master and the PhD study programme Finance. Her areas of professional work and interest cover strategic management, clusters, performance management and measurement, corporate finance, corporate valuation and benchmarking. She is the member of several universities’ scientific boards, boards for PhD study programmes and she works in editorial boards of five scientific journals. She led several research projects supported by external grant providers and supervised 16 PhD graduates.

About the department:

The Department of Finance and Accounting focuses on corporate finance, financial markets, banking and insurance, financial technologies, public finance, taxes and accounting. Our research projects deal with predictive modelling, performance management and measurement, innovation and financial performance in a digital era, risk management, data quality of accounting information and tax issues.
