Tomas Bata University in Zlín is involved in preparing a project focused on strategic cooperation in the field of education, science and research in the framework of the European University initiative supported by the European Commission. The goal of this initiative is to strengthen and structure cooperation between higher education institutions across the EU and to develop a new generation of Europeans who can work in different cultural environments.
The “ PIONEER” consortium, coordinated by the Gustave Eiffel University in France, brings together ten universities from different geographical regions of Europe (Czech Republic, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, Germany, Finland, Netherlands and Switzerland). All the universities will aim to promote the strengthening of the European identity, to encourage excellence and to enhance the competitiveness of European higher education institutions.
The PIONEER Alliance aims to shape the future of inclusive, sustainable and resilient cities, providing students with dedicated skills in a European environment.
